Yokohama a Repeat Sponsor of Concours d'Elegance
For the ninth year running, Yokohama Tire Corp. is the official tire of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, scheduled for Aug. 18.
“The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is a premier event and ideal place to promote our flagship Advan brand,” said Alan Holtschneider, Yokohama senior director of marketing communications. “People attending will have access to some of the most prestigious cars and motorcycles in the world and join Yokohama in celebrating this legendary automotive gathering. They can stop by our exhibit to see our new tires plus test their driving skills playing the new GT6. There will be nothing else like it at the Concours.”
Yokohama will have a display at the event featuring the tiremaker’s UHP tire, Advan Sport V105 and Advan Neova AD08R, as well as two PlayStation race simulators and a 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL550 fitted with Advan Sport V105 tires.
In addition to the large display, Yokohama’s sponsorship agreement includes name and logo placement on every ticket, as well as a lanyard worn by spectators and participants, ad placement in the event program and participation in a number of Concours-related events and activities, the company said.
